Kriss, have you ever camped on a beach where desert meets sea and awakened to the sound of waves lapping on the shore? Sipped your coffee while gray whales swim nearby? If not, then it’s time to discover Baja!
From January through April, gray whales come to the sheltered waters of the Baja lagoons in the largest animal migration in the world. We visit them aboard skiffs piloted by local fishermen and our naturalists and often the whales come close enough for you to whisper hello to them.
From October to April we also kayak in the Gulf of California where blue whales swim and feed along with a multitude of other marine animals.
Our Whale Watching Baja trip is a must and now is the time to sign up. Or join our 3+3 Combination trip featuring kayaking in the Sea of Cortez and gray whale watching in Magdalena Bay!
