RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Game Fish and Parks invites the public to visit Cleghorn Fish Hatchery at Rapid City. The hatchery is open to visitors seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We have a lot to see and do here at Cleghorn,” said Hatchery Manager Will Sayler. “You can get angling tips for trout and other species, feed the trout in the outside ponds, learn from our exhibits and videos, buy a fishing license or take a guided tour at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. daily.”
There is no charge for visiting the hatchery, and group tours can schedule 10 days in advance by calling 605-394-4100.
The Cleghorn Springs State Fish Hatchery is located at 4725 Jackson Blvd.
